We had such a nice time at Lamisse & Nassim’s Toronto wedding. They both come from two incredibly warm and welcoming families – within minutes, Lori and I felt like we were part of them! It is such a wonderful feeling to be embraced not only by your couple but the people that mean the most to them!
Here is how our sweet couple remember their beautiful day!
When I first saw her in her wedding dress…I remember telling myself just get to her. I wanted to hold and kiss her. I had so many emotions running through me. She looked beautiful!
My favourite moment…was in the park with our family and closest friends. It was a lot of fun. I knew the day was well on its way.
Something that happened that I didn’t expect… was on the way to pick up my bride in our Vintage Rolls Royce. The car broke down on the side of the highway just before her exit. I quickly got out of the car and got into my parents car. They were behind me. I wasn’t mad. I wasn’t sad. I knew these things happen. All that mattered to me was getting to Lamisse. The world couldn’t get me there fast enough.
When I first saw him all dressed up…I was filled with a sense of calm. I had been so nervous all morning, I could barely breathe right! When he walked in looking like he walked out of the pages of GQ, I felt so at peace that he was beside me. For the first time that day, I was able to take a deep breath. And he looked hot!!
My favourite moment…Was listening to Nassim’s speech. He’s so thoughtful and kind and that really came through with his sweet speech thanking our family, friends.. And me! He made everyone tear up! I was so proud of what he wrote and so sure I had just married the best guy out there.
Something that happened that I didn’t expect…We were able to totally let loose and party with everyone! We put so much planning into the event and we were really nervous/ tired during the day but after dinner, all of that went right out the window! We were dancing with all our friends and family until 2am.. And we didn’t sit down once! It was SO much fun.. The DJ had to eventually shut us down. Haha
