OK! I now this is long overdue! We had a little equipment meltdown but were up and running and everything is in universal balance again! *wink* Today I get to share the story of how Brett and Meghan met, and how he proposed. I was honoured to capture this couples’ special day a few weeks ago and like many of my couples we have grown to become good friends!
Brett and Meghan met through a mutual friend at a New Year’s party! They celebrated ringing in 2005 with one another and have never looked back. Since then they have been inseparable, they do everything together and their relationship has romantically and naturally progress into an amazing and strong friendship. Brett and Meghan lived together for 3 years before he proposed, and he’ll be the first to tell others NOT to hide the ring in the house. So :)… as Meghan waited in anticipation for the “perfect moment”, it came on a quiet Thursday morning while they were on summer holidays. Trying to decide how not to spoil the nice weather they pondered going to their favourite farmers market. But Brett had another idea too, he got down on one knee and asked her to be with him forever, to be his wife, love him and be his always. She said yes and they spent the afternoon walking through St. Jacobs’s market eating donairs and apple fritters, what better way to spend the day!!
