“We’ll never forget when Aaron and I ran out of the pavilion after our first kiss as husband and wife before our officiant could announce us. We absolutely love how you were able to capture that moment when we realized we left too soon and ran back in.” Amanda & Aaron
Amanda & Aaron were married on a beautiful Fall day at the Cambridge Mill. Surrounded by their family and friends, they partied the night away at a reception that even got Aaron’s grandparents cutting a rug on the dancefloor!!
The day started at their home where Amanda and her girls got ready. Doing this 400+ times, you get to see a wide array of emotions the morning of a wedding and this day was SO chill. Everyone truly seemed to enjoy themselves and took the morning in, celebrating the beautiful bride as she slipped on her dress and accessories before meeting her groom at his father’s home.
Now, Aaron & his family and I go way back, back to my “past life” as a purchaser for the company his family started. They are such wonderful people, going to work really felt like you were one of the “Fair’s”. Anytime I get to see them it’s usually in part because I’m documenting on of their weddings *lol* and it feels like a mini reunion! Heading up the driveway of Aaron’s father’s rural property we were blown away by the fall colours and the amazing weather we were blessed with! There were so many special moments throughout the day, but the one that literally brought us to tears was when Aaron, along with his bride, father and sister visited the pond on the property. It was Aaron’s mother’s favourite spot, so they honoured her & her memory by spending some time there on her son’s wedding day and threw her favourite flower (yellow roses), into the water for her. Even as I write this, my eyes are watering!
If there is one thing that we love most about a wedding day it is the sentimental moments that are scattered throughout the day. There was no shortage of that for Amanda & Aaron. A huge thank you to our amazing couple for having us and trusting us with such an important day in their lives. My sincerest gratitude to the Fair family for welcoming me into their family since day 1 and having me there throughout so many of their major milestones. It is always so wonderful catching up with everyone!!
Here’s a bit of how Amanda & Aaron remember their day…
My favourite part of the day was….Absolutely loved the speeches of the day; so many good laughs and just the right amount of mush!
I’ll never forget…. Having my grandparents at our wedding; it’s something that meant the world to both of us!
I least expected…. How emotional I would be during the day! To see my soon to be wife at the reveal prior to the ceremony hit me like a ton of bricks. A testament to our bond for sure. A moment I’ll never forget!
My favourite part of the day was when you were taking pictures of Aaron and I down at the pond and the leaves started to fall. It was a very magical moment for the two of us and one that we will remember forever.
I’ll never forget when Aaron and I ran out of the pavilion after our first kiss as husband and wife before our officiant could announce us. We absolutely love how you were able to capture that moment when we realized we left too soon and ran back in.
I least expected our MC Uncle Cal to bring out his ukulele and sing his rendition of Signs Signs, Everywhere a Sign for the housekeeping portion of his speech. He had us in stitches laughing. Everyone was talking about it afterwards! I believe he is now signed up to sing it at two more weddings.
