“The pictures are incredible. You guys captured the most perfect moments. We had a few viewing parties with friends and family and everyone’s feedback was ‘wow you two look so happy and so comfortable’. It was a memorable day and now we have the pictures to help us relive those moments. You guys are the best!” – Claudia & Jason

Claudia & Jason’s wedding at Airship 37 was….well, we don’t have words for it!! It was so beautiful and unique, there isn’t quite a word to describe it. It was SO them and all we know is that we absolutely loved shooting this wedding day with this gorgeous bride and groom at an amazing venue in downtown Toronto.
We usually pride ourselves on a really good track record when it comes to weather. But when mother nature doesn’t cooperate, we pride ourselves on the most kick a$$ couples who roll with it! The light drizzle was not going to keep Claudia & Jason from strolling through the Distillery District for photos. And the best part?? It literally felt like we were observers with cameras…they spent the afternoon just being together which is all we could have asked for.
There are so many beautiful moments that we are excited to share, but first, here’s a little bit of what Claudia & Jason had to say about their wedding day…
My favourite part of the day was… sitting beside my new wife at the head table, sitting beside our best friends and looking out to see all of our family and closest friends sitting together under one roof.
I’ll never forget… the way I felt when I was waiting at the back of the church, saying hi to our guests as they arrived and waiting for my beautiful bride. To me, that was the moment where I really felt like everything was about to change and I was super excited for it. It was a feeling unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.
I least expected… to cry as much as I did during Claudia’s speech. I knew I would cry a bit because I’m a softie, but her speech was amazing. Hopefully our guests could understand me when I spoke next between all my tears and sniffles. I’m a very lucky guy.
My favourite part of the day was…. sitting back in my chair during dinner next to my husband and staring out into the room at all our guests laughing, cheering and having a great time. As Bassem and Lori mentioned in our first meeting together, we’ll probably never have all our friends and family in one room together again so I love that we had taken that minute to let it all sink in.
I’ll never forget… the feeling I got when we exchanged vows. I was overwhelmed with emotion because I couldn’t have been more sure of anything in my life. I’ve been in love with Jason since grade 7 – he truly is my best friend and I’d happily recite my vows a million times over.
I least expected… to be as calm as I was. It felt like nothing could have rained on our parade – not even the actual rain that came down that day (which turned out amazing in our pictures)!
Claudia & Jason, thank you so much for having us. From the moment we met you guys, we knew we wanted to be part of your special day. Seeing so much emotion from the two of you and your family and friends was a dream to photograph and an honour to witness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
