Hey Gang!

Ashley & Scott were married on a beautiful Fall day at a gorgeous and rustic venue, Cambium Farms in Caledon. We had never shot there before, so to say we were excited is an understatement! The best part? Ashley’s Godmother was also married there and Ashley was her flower girl! How cool is that!?

When we drove up to the Farm the morning of their wedding, we were in awe of the beautiful home, carriage house and barn that was used for the intimate reception. White lights were strung throughout the property to create a romantic ambiance and every last detail was personal and clearly well planned by our amazing couple!!

Ashley & Scott, from day one, struck us as two people with a strong connection. If you had a moment to spend with them, you’d notice that their love is unique. It isn’t the kind of love you find in your early 20s…the kind that you become so immersed in that you lose pieces of yourself. No, their love is the kind that comes with the experience of knowing and loving yourself enough to open your heart completely to another. They’re laid back, confident as a couple and sweet. You just know by the way that they look at each other that they are in it for the long haul and couldn’t be happier to be doing it side by side.

Their wedding was, in one word, magical. The speeches were meaningful, the dancefloor was bouncin’, and they had their family and friends surrounding them with love. We feel so blessed to have been a part of it and to have gotten to know Ashley & Scott.

To our amazing couple, thank you for choosing us. We had such a wonderful time with you and your family and friends! We have finally had a chance to catch our breath from wedding season, a vacation and the holidays, and we couldn’t be more excited to share your beautiful day with everyone! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!!

Enough about us, here’s a little of what Ashley & Scott had to say about their wedding day!

She Said:

My favourite part of the day was…Walking down the aisle after the ceremony, I think I may have been dancing and singing!!! Then just by random we individually greeted and thanked and hugged every guest as they left the ceremony. It was an unplanned receiving line. A great way to say hi and thank you to everyone!

I’ll never forget…2 things:
1) when Scott came to give me my present…late. The whole story behind it: Scott’s gift did not arrive until 9:45 pm the night before. It was hand-delivered to my parents house after 3 weeks of me emailing the company inquiring where the gift was!!! He didn’t know it arrived so he thought we were not exchanging gifts. Then when he came to give me my gift after (he called his mom to pick it up from our house on her way to the wedding) he just warmed my heart even more!

2) the few moments I took during dinner to sit back and observe all our friends and family sitting at each table, chatting, laughing and enjoying the night! It was amazing to see them all there.

I least expected…to be totally calm and have the day go so smoothly. I kept saying to people (friends, family and bridesmaids) that I didn’t know how all the planning comes together. Everyone kept telling me it just does. Then the day of, poof, it did! The entire morning when we were getting ready was relaxing with my girls. I could tell they were stressed with making sure the decor was perfect for us. I just took it all in and enjoyed my tea…and mimosa…while getting ready. Then the part came where we got me into my dress and it was time…then it felt real. When dad and I started walking down the aisle I turned to him and said, “this is it! I’m actually getting married!” And the tears started as soon as I saw all our friends and family stand and smile at me as I walked towards my man!

He Said:

1ST DANCE

I’ll never forget….

1ST LOOK

I least expected….
